Carolyn O Driscoll (Oliver’s Mother) as Master of Ceremonies opened our very first variety show. She was followed in her task by Karen Hoare ( Ciara’s Mother) and Eithne Hayes (Tara’s Mother).
Kim o Sullivan and her dad, Niall, wrote to Santa earlier this month. They told him all about our show. Santa said yes he would love to visit as he heard there was an Elf missing from the work shop. Where could he be?
Our first act was Ciara Hoares uncle Aengus Kirakawski he played classical guitar. We were all mesmerised.
Coming straight from Los Angeles via Rylane our next act has starred my many Hollywood Movies for example ‘The Wind That Shakes the Barley’ Peggy and Geremy (Kim O Sullivan’s granny and good friend)
After his recent performance in Cork City Hall Karl Murphy sang 2 beautiful Christmas Hymns
Susan O Connells brother David O Connell flew from London so that he could perform in our show. We will definitely sing one of his action songs for assembly
Aine O Halloran,better known as mom to our James. Rumour has it that she has been leaning to play the violin for a few weeks. Hmmm !!!
We were honoured to have with us the winners of the Scoil Eanna X factor. 3 very talented rap artists.
From senior classes of St Paul’s we had Megan Morrissey. She has the sweetest voice. She performed ‘Silent Night’.
This band recently performed for the Lord Mayor of Cork. We were so lucky to have them with us. St Aidan’s Community College performed for us looking forward to seeing you all in March. Thank you to to band members Róisín Mulcahy, Claire o’ Keefe, Molly Cullinane, Jodie Hughes, Aoife Heffernan, Jessica Brook Stout, Sidney Uzil, Daniel Mulcahy, Ronan o’ Keefe and Hilary Williamson.
Some Day these 3 young men will win the Glitter Ball Trophy. With a scene from ‘Love Actually’ we had dancers David, Micheal and Robert. Closing the show we had the very talented staff from St Paul’s Gillian, Paula and Angela who played and sang us out.
